【新西兰生活网】气象部门已经发布了恶劣天气预警，预计从周三开始北部地区将有大雨和大风。
MetService 表示，周三和周四，北岛上游地区的降雨量可能达到警告水平，并有很大的东北风。
东北部的大涌浪也可能给裸露的海岸带来危险条件。
包括大屏障岛（Great Barrier Island）在内的奥克兰和北地有暴雨预警，后者也有强风预警。
The latest Severe Weather Outlook, valid from Tuesday 3rd to Friday 6th January, has been issued.
Note that the risk areas are for rain and wind exceeding warning thresholds. Other places will also get some rain.

MetService 表示，副热带低压预计将在周四、周五和周六缓慢向南移动至北岛以西。
除了北岛上游，丰盛湾、塔斯曼西北部、奥蒂拉（Otira）以南的韦斯特兰（Westland ）和峡湾（Fiordland）地区本周晚些时候可能会出现强降雨。
MetService 表示，未来几天可能会发布更多的预警和/或警告。
